Years ago, amongst the many restaurants and bar gigs I was doing at the time I happen to make my way up to the Will McLean Festival at the Florida Sands Music Ranch outside of Dade City. There my life changed. I found myself listening to the “Old Timers” sing songs and tell stories of the real Florida, the “Old Florida”. I have been back every year since to renew my passion learn and write more songs and collect stories of this “Land of Flowers”!

This festival has been going on for the better part of 10 years and it is a gathering of Florida’s best songwriters. If you get the chance take the time and venture up just for the day or campout for the weekend and immerse yourself in this cultural event!
