This the first time I will be participating in the fun event. The songs I will be presenting will be open for discussion with the moderator and the audience. Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Venice presents “Singers in the Round”, Saturday January 18th
Singer in the round places 3 singers on a stage and all take turns performing their songs and sharing their stories. This a event that brings together 3 solid artist from the Venice area for an evening of great music and fun. I get to share the stage with St David Fowler one of the areas premier Blues singers/performers, Zach Regan and Americana songwriter making a real name for hisself. Three artist at on time! Shuck n Ale, Saturday February 8th

The Will McLean Folk Festival, March 7th - 8th
This is an annual gathering of songwriters from throughout the state of Florida. Though the festival is 3 days people start gathering as early as the week before to get a good spot and start playing music. The festival will have workshops for Fiddle, Mandolin, Songwriting, there is a brand new youth gathering as well where students are mentored on music and performance and storytelling. Barberville Spring Folk & Arts Festival, April 5th & 6th
This Festival is nestled within a village of old buildings rescued and and transported to a small park on the outside of Barberville. The village itself is worth the drive. All the stages are either inside our near some of these old buildings, some dating back to the late 1700’s. This festival celebrates the history of Old Florida in stories and songs. Troll Music Showcase, Saturday April 26th
It is rare treat when a venue has enough faith in your art as to give you a whole night to yourself.
