The camp takes place at the Manatee UU Fellowship Hall at 322 15th Street West, Bradenton, Fl 34205. There is a wide variety of instructors for Banjo, Dobro,/Slide, Fiddle, Harmonica, Jam Etiquette, Ukulele, Songwriting and Mt. Dulcimer. And as in the tradition of the original Sunshine State Music Camp at the end of the last day there will be “The Instructors Concert”. The Doors to the Hall will open at 6:30pm and the Music startes at 7pm! Pre-Registration for this event opens on May 1st, 2025 at foff.org

November 1st & 2nd 49th Annual Fall Country Jamboree

Barberville is a treasure. It is a settlement of restored buildings, some dating back to the late 1800’s, all placed together to resemble an early pioneer settlement. Some of these buildings are amazing. There is a Post Office, Print Shop, Firehouse complete with its own Engine. Here in this community is a Schoolhouse that was in use up until the early 1970’s, a fully functional Blacksmith’s shop, Cabins, Train Station Depot and a Church that is still in use. This is a must see Pioneer Settlement. So for two days this places comes alive with people, food and music of ALL kinds on several stages. So if you’re in the neighborhood or just want to spend the day with the family this is worth the trip. For further information go to pioneersettlement.org
