This will be my first time doing this event. This is at a place called the “Krazy Kup” coffeehouse. Since the days when I was sneaking in and out of coffeehouses this place looks a lot better than the ones I haunted so many years ago in Louisville! Saturday, May 30th, Songwriter night
When I was a Sophomore in High School I would find my self haunting certain coffeehouses around my hometown of Louisville. Few sold beer but for the most part in was always crowded with people all talking at once. In the air hung a thick layer of cigarette smoke and from the stage poured out folksongs and poetry. It was an amazing atmosphere to experience, so you can imagine my reaction when my friend Carey Chaney called me an asked if I wanted to be apart of a writers night at the “Clever Cup” right here in Sarasota. Billy and Troll has asked me to start his summer/Fall concert series. This a concert series has had some amazing artist and I am honored to be apart of it.
