This is a camping event and you will WANT to camp! There is music everywhere! There are six continuous stages of music all day every day and after the stages close down each campsite opens up to impromptu jams sessions that continue into the night. Workshops on Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle, Groups Singing and Songwriting! There are Arts & Crafts booths along with wonderful Food and Beverage vendors to make sure that you don’t go hungry. March 28th & 29th 21st Annual Spring Frolic
Barberville is a treasure. It is a settlement of restored buildings, some dating back to the late 1800’s, all placed together to resemble an early pioneer settlement. Some of these buildings are amazing. There is a Post Office, Print Shop, Firehouse complete with its own Engine. Here in this community is a Schoolhouse that was in use up until the early 1970’s, a fully functional Blacksmith’s shop, Cabins, Train Station Depot and a Church that is still in use. This is a must see Pioneer Settlement. So for two days this places comes alive with people, food and music of ALL kinds on several stages.
