HOWDY,
I’m so very glad you stopped by my page. I know it’s not much but due to my limited technical knowledge this is not bad from me. So, if you have any suggestions drop me a line an I will see what I can do.
Well, I guess you might be wondering just how someone like me gets started writing and performing songs. Well, for me, it all started in a coffee houses on the east side of Louisville Kentucky where I grew up. I was in a middle class family living a middle class life when I heard this amazing music and met some amazing people that changed me and put me on the road I travel now. I had a guitar in my lap by spring. Not long after graduating High School my mom, sister and I packed it all in and moved to Venice, Florida. This tropical paradise called to me and I went in search of it and I was amazed at what I found. This life either had me on the beach, busking on the street corner or even playing music at the local Coffee House or Pub. I was hooked and it was that spirit that drove me on to write about people I’d meet or to gather tales of the historical stories that were told to tell me. It’s the sour notes of a harmonica played against the strumming of a guitar stitched together with the tread of a Gypsy violin that fills my heart stirs my soul.
I have been blessed to have had 2 songs on two Friends of Florida Folk compilation CD’s along with a recording of my own called “Life on the Learning Curve”. I have played numerous bars and events such as The Will McLean Festival, Barberville Folk & Arts Festival, Florida Folk Festival, Lake County Folk Festival. I never grow tired of listening to and playing music and sharing my art.
